Services - Early intervention for deaf children
We offer personalised early intervention services for families, caregivers and early years settings. Support can be arranged as a one-off consultation, a short block of intervention, a structured support package or ongoing guidance.
Additionally, we specialise in providing support to families navigating the cochlear implant process and provide post implant rehabilitation sessions in conjunction with local services.
Referrals to appropriate services or professionals can be made to ensure the right support is in place.
Parent Coaching
Direct Intervention with Children and Caregivers
Families often come away with a clearer understanding of their child’s needs, practical strategies they can use immediately, greater confidence with hearing technology and everyday communication, and a plan for what to focus on next. Parent coaching offers early intervention for deaf children and helps you understand how to support listening, communication and spoken language in everyday routines and daily life. Sessions are practical, collaborative and tailored to your child’s stage of development. Together, we look at what is already working, what feels difficult, and which small strategies can make the biggest difference at home.
Direct intervention sessions are play-based and family-centred. We work with your child and caregiver together, using toys, books, songs, routines and natural interaction to support listening & speaking, language and communication goals. The focus is always on helping caregivers feel confident using strategies between sessions.

Communication & Language Assessments
Support Around diagnosis, Hearing technology and decision-making

Assessment can help identify your child’s current strengths, needs and next steps. This may include looking at listening skills, spoken language, communication behaviours, caregiver interaction, access to sound and how your child is using hearing technology in real-life situations.
A new diagnosis can bring many questions. We can help you understand the impact of hearing loss on early communication and language development, prepare for appointments, think through technology options, understand reports, and identify the questions you may want to ask professionals involved in our child’s care.

Educational consultancy
Resources & Tools
We provide consultancy for nurseries, preschools, early years settings and primary schools supporting a deaf child. This may include staff training, observation, written recommendations, environmental advice, inclusive communication strategies and practical support to create a language-rich setting.
We can develop tailored resources to help families and educational settings to support listening and spoken language within a holistic programme. These may include home practice ideas, routine-based strategies, listening goals, book-based activities, and practical guidance for caregivers and staff.
