Services - Early intervention for deaf children
We offer personalised early intervention services for families, caregivers and early years settings. Support can be arranged as a one-off consultation, a short block of intervention, a structured support package or ongoing guidance.
Additionally, we specialise in providing support to families navigating the cochlear implant process and provide post implant rehabilitation sessions in conjunction with local services.
Referrals to appropriate services or professionals can be made to ensure the right support is in place.
Direct Intervention with Children and Caregivers & Parent Coaching
starting from £75 per hour
Each session includes direct intervention and parent coaching as this model means that families come away with:
- a clearer understanding of their child’s needs
- practical strategies they can use immediately
- greater confidence with hearing technology & everyday communication
- a plan for what to focus on next.
Sessions are play-based, family-centred, and tailored to your child's individual needs.
Through play, everyday routines, books, songs, toys and natural interactions, your child, family members and therapist work together to support listening, spoken language, communication and developmental goals.
The focus is on helping your child build communication skills while empowering you with practical strategies to use confidently at home. Parent coaching is a key part of every session, enabling you to support your child's listening, language and communication development throughout daily life.
Sessions are collaborative, practical and responsive to your child's stage of development. Together, we explore what is already working, identify any challenges, and introduce simple, effective strategies that can make a meaningful difference in everyday interactions.

Support Around diagnosis, Hearing technology and decision-making
Assessment can help identify your child’s current strengths, needs and next steps.
This may include looking at listening skills, spoken language, communication behaviours, caregiver interaction, access to sound and how your child is using hearing technology in real-life situations.
A new identification can bring many questions. We can help you :

- prepare for appointments
- think through technology options
- understand reports

Educational consultancy & Training

We provide consultancy for nurseries, preschools, early years settings and primary schools supporting a deaf child. This may include staff training, observation, written recommendations, environmental advice, inclusive communication strategies and practical support to create a language-rich setting.
We also provide training and workshops to professional groups and parents on topics related to early intervention and best practice.
Independent assessments for young deaf children to support families seeking an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). This includes provision of a detailed written report with recommendations for specialist provision and support
